Mild headaches in the first week at a new dose are common and usually self-limiting. Paracetamol is appropriate, unless you have been advised not to use paracetamol. Do not use opioid-containing analgesics (see Interactions).
Most common in the first 1–2 weeks of each dose increase. Take with food. Usually resolves within 5–7 days. If nausea persists beyond 10 days at the same dose, drop back one level and re-titrate more slowly.
Occurs in the first 2–4 weeks in many people. Usually self-resolves. If vivid dreams are disrupting sleep more than two nights per week for longer than two weeks, try shifting to a morning dose for 7 days. If morning dosing does not resolve it, drop back to the previous dose for one week and re-titrate more slowly.
